The Vasari corridor
Uffizi Gallery - Florence
Yesterday Saturday 23rd May, 2015 at the Uffizi Gallery the doors to the Vasari corridor (1536) were exceptionally opened to our FAI group, an elevated enclosed passageway which connects the Palazzo Vecchio with the Palazzo Pitti, running from the Uffizi Gallery across the Ponte Vecchio. The views of Florence along the Arno river are intriguing and works of art herein exhibited are countless. So at last I could visit the Uffizi Gallery with a plus!
